After the enthusiasm for the first half of the Rescued Hearts documentary film, Windhorse Equine Learning is hosting a screening event for the full two-hour film back at Kiln Bozeman. This community gathering offers a rare chance to experience a film that is touching hearts across the world, learn about organizations in our community that are doing this important work, and share space with others in our community who understand and appreciate the horse-human connection.
From the film creators, "Rescued Hearts is a powerful documentary exploring the miracles, mystery, and science of healing with horses. Inspired by a life-changing moment when a 7-year-old child diagnosed with autism spoke his first words while interacting with a horse, filmmakers Dana Croschere and Krisanna Sexton set out to understand what makes the horse-human connection so powerful. What they never expected was how deeply the journey would transform their own lives, including helping to heal the relationship between Dana and her father.
Through real stories, raw vulnerability, and scientific insight, Rescued Hearts is an invitation back to the heart, where healing, presence, and possibility begin."
Doors will open at 5pm and we will host a reception with complimentary beverages including wine and beer, and a food truck to be determined soon. Our returning event sponsor Hertha Lund of Four Horses for Wholeness will have a table sharing about the healing work she does from her beautiful Montana facility.
