Windhorse has received a very generous $300,000 grant from the Delores Barr Weaver Family Endowment to support our capital campaign to purchase the property we have been leasing since 2019. We have raised $126,550 of the grant and have $173,450 left to raise by the end of the year (December 31, 2026) to meet the match. Then we will have met our goal of $1.75 million and this beautiful property will be ours! Since we started offering programs in 2013, Windhorse has served over 950 kids. We have grown from our first cohort of nine kids to serving 130 individuals a year. We believe that all kids should have the opportunity to learn and grow with horses, so we provide full or partial scholarships to all families in need. We have provided more than $66,000 in scholarships to 343 kids!
