Windhorse has received a very generous $300,000 grant from the Delores Barr Weaver Family Endowment to support our capital campaign to purchase the property we have been leasing since 2019. We have raised $90,000 of the grant and have $210,000 left to raise by the end of the year (December 31, 2026). Once we have met the match, we will have met our goal of $1.75 million and this beautiful property will be ours! Since we started offering programs in 2013, Windhorse has served over 950 kids. We have grown from our first cohort of nine kids to serving 130 individuals a year. We believe that all kids should have the opportunity to learn and grow with horses, so we provide full or partial scholarships to all families in need. We have provided more than $66,000 in scholarships to 343 kids!

• Year-round Use: Regardless of Montana’s challenging weather conditions, a larger heated, indoor arena will enable Windhorse to continue to operate year-round, ensuring the comfort and safety of our students and horses.
