Cowpokes & Cocktails is the Windhorse Annual Benefit Event

At Cowpokes & Cocktails, community spirit meets upscale cowboy charm! Dust off your boots, grab your hat, and celebrate with us at an evening of fun, laughter, and giving back. 

One night a year every summer our team puts their hearts and dedication into bringing the community an event encompassing live music, a deliciously memorable dining experience accompanied by bottomless curated cocktails, equine entertainment, exciting silent and live auctions filled with local finds, and so much more. 

2026 marked our fifth annual Cowpokes and Cocktails event and we are so grateful and proud to share that it was a smashing success! For the first time ever the event sold out ahead of time, our silent auction arena was filled to the brim with incredible packages and experiences, and we exceeded our fundraising goals. Thanks to the generosity of many local restaurants in the Gallatin Valley, our coveted Restaurant Raffle prize was even larger and included more participating businesses than last year and we hope it continues to grow. The raffle winner turned out to be event photographer and friend of Windhorse, Anne Sherwood, you'll see her name along many of our beautiful photos. 

Our incredible team of staff, board members, and volunteers couldn't be more thrilled and humbled to be a part of such an amazing community.

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Automated Recurring Donation Cancellation

Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us.
