THANK YOU to those who attended and contributed to Cowpokes and Cocktails 2024 – what a wonderful evening! We at Windhorse are so grateful for the support of our community in making the third annual Cowpokes and Cocktails a night to remember.
This year, we featured an incredible liberty horsemanship performance and demo by Cory Furlong of RCR Horsemanship. Her pony, August, was definitely a fan favorite!
We had so much fun dancing along to Little Jane and the Pistol Whips, and enjoyed a delectable buffet by The Bountiful Table, while the 406 Mobile Bar kept the spirits flowing. Missy O’Malley was her usual delightful and enthusiastic self and we are so grateful for her help! And a very special thank you to Henry Wallis and his mom Margaret for sharing with us how much Windhorse programs have meant to them. Henry and Windhorse students Addie Gregg and Zosia Frick also showcased their groundwork skills with horses Blue, Grey and Taco.
Many thanks as well to all who generously donated to our programs, bought one of our many auction items, and joined the raffle to win the original artwork by DG House for our upcoming license plate! Nancy Jochem was the lucky winner who got to take home this beautiful painting. Soon you will be able to enjoy DG’s artwork on your car by choosing our sponsored license plate at any Montana Licensing office.
Thank you to our hardworking volunteers, staff, and our herd of horse heroes. You are the heart and soul of Windhorse and make our work with kids possible.
