Nichole Meeks, Secretary
Nichole Meeks and her husband moved to Bozeman in 2012. Though, originally from the East Coast, the mountains and sense of adventure called them west, and it turned out to be the perfect fit. Nichole’s interest in horses began at a young age, but grew into a passion after she moved to Montana and began exploring the area on horseback.
Nichole is excited to be part of the Windhorse Equine Learning Board, and she brings experience in grant writing and nonprofit development. Graduating from college with a BS in Graphic Design, Nichole quickly realized her love of working with others and began her career in event and travel planning. After several years working for an adventure travel company, Off the Beaten Path, Nichole decided to change fields, joining Thrive as a development coordinator and grant writer. Nichole recently returned to the adventure travel world, and is currently providing risk management solutions through travel insurance and emergency evacuation at Kanna Travel Services. Nichole has volunteered as a CAP mentor through Thrive and has participated in many local nonprofit events supporting the community. You can also find Nichole hiking, skiing, and fly fishing with her husband, two children, and golden retriever, EmmyLou.
