Chandra Morris brings to the Board more than 20 years’ experience and training in journalism, public relations, development, and nonprofit leadership. Since 2000, she has been chiefly responsible for raising the visibility of TechLink, a federally funded organization based at Montana State University that serves the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs by linking their R&D laboratories with industry to turn government inventions into commercial products and services. Previously, she spent a decade as director of public relations and publications for MSU’s alumni association and foundation. Throughout her life, Chandra has enjoyed the company of horses, is an active competitor in Montana’s reining horse community, and believes strongly in the power of horses to help humans find purpose and joy in their lives. She is accredited in public relations through the Public Relations Society of America.
